As the Design Manager for the Families UX team at Booking.com, I have played a pivotal role in shaping engaging user experiences for family-centric travel solutions. Leading and mentoring a diverse team of designers, I emphasise the importance of user-centered design, fostering an environment where creative ideas flourish and collaboration thrives.
My responsibilities encompass managing the end-to-end design process, from initial concept through to final development, ensuring that our products not only meet the needs of our users but also align with strategic business goals. Leveraging my background in animation and storytelling, I approach design challenges with a unique perspective, striving to create intuitive and memorable experiences.
Under my leadership, our team has successfully optimised existing products and innovated new features based on thorough user research and data analysis. I take pride in empowering my team to excel in their work, promoting a culture of continuous learning, and celebrating our collective successes while having fun in the process.
